Learning outcome 4 (Unit 3) - Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief (M4 and D1) Front cover: One tool I used while editing my front cover was the line tool. I used this tool in order to give my masthead a more professional and cleaner look. The reason I did this is because from my feedback my audiences feedback told me that my masthead wasn't clear whether it said "PACE" or "PAGE" so therefore I had to edit it to make it more clear as brand awareness is an important part to a magazines success. Learning outcome 4 (Unit 3) - Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief (P5) Review of Suitability Front cover: 1). One good point about my front cover is that the colour palette I used was captivating and bright which allowed for it to catch the attention of readers. This was an advantage because if it captures readers attentions then it will entice them to read on and be more engaged with the magazine. This could lead to other benefits such as repeat purchases if they enjoyed the content inside and also they could recommend others to try the magazine leading to an increase in sales and brand awareness. This linked to my target audience because typically teenagers and young adults would be more engaged with something that is bright and captivating whereas if I made my front cover quite dark by using colours such as black and grey then it will make them become bored and uninterested by the magazine quicker which...

Learning outcome 2 (Unit 3) - Be able to plan and develop pre-production materials for an original media product to a client brief (P3 and M2) This talent consent and release form is necessary as it will provide me with legal protection to use the images of my talent and shows that they have agreed to me photographed by me in order to be used for my magazine.  This location release form allows me to use the O2 academy in Brixton as one of my location for my magazine shoots. This document will protect me against any legal action because it shows that the representative of the O2 academy in Brixton have agreed to let me shoot at this location.
